We are so excited to have Julie Havelund-Willet joining the Brighton Aerial Arts team! Julie is a dance artist, AcroYoga- and yoga teacher. She is Co-Founder to AcroYoga collective and teaches a wide range of classes, workshops and masterclasses both locally, in London and abroad. She brings creativity, fun and warmth to all her classes, and always facilitates a safe and supportive space to learn.
This weekly drop in is for anyone curious about- and new to AcroYoga practice. Book with a friend or on your own. Everyone will work in groups and learn how to spot safely alongside flying and/or basing. We will mainly be exploring L-Base technique, alignment and trust with a few fun creative tasks towards the end of the course.

Professional Dance Workshop
Drawing on my background in aerial circus, acrobatic and somatic practices, this dance workshop invites participants to journey through set and improvised material, through contact with bodies (with consent from all participants) and other surfaces.
I will share some foundational principles for touch, support, and transitional movement from my company, AcroYoga Collective. Participants are invited to explore these pillars into more expansive and travelling movement.
Throughout, there will be time for gathering and sharing experiences, and I will offer some lenses for viewing dance, which I developed during research and residencies at Space Clarence Mews during lockdowns.

Prenatal Yoga with Gym Ball
A safe and slow-paced class for pregnant women across all trimesters, working with a gym ball (not provided, but available cheaply and highly recommended during pregnancy) on Zoom.
